WCMHS is an innovative person-centered organization that has been providing support to individuals and families living in Central Vermont for over 50 years. We support people living with the challenges of mental health and intellectual/developmental disabilities to live their best life, be part of the community, and achieve their goals.
We are seeking a Communication & Development Director. This individual will serve as our public relations manager and will help build and strengthen our mission by developing and communicating with our stakeholders using a variety of media outlets. In collaboration with our dedicated senior team, execute our strategic plan, support fundraising efforts; and build relationships with key supporters, the board, and our community; assist with grant-writing; and produce marketing information, press releases, social media content, and other promotional materials. Master’s degree in public relations and communications preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills and five years’ experience in health, mental health and/or public administration required. Non-profit experience preferred.
