The Town of Colchester is seeking a creative, highly-organized, tech-savvy professional to join its Recreation team. Provides administrative and marketing support with seasonal programs, activities and special events. Delivers in-person, phone and email-based customer service to a variety of stakeholders.
Marketing support and outreach for programs and events via social and traditional media, including creation of promotional materials such as flyers, brochures and announcements. Website maintenance, content creation and copy editing. Coordinates scheduling and reservation of facilities, processes program payments, inbound/outbound mail, and other administrative duties.
Requirements: Excellent communication and technical skills, relevant associate’s degree and two years of related professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:30PM. Requires evening and weekend availability for special events.
