About CCTV
Launched in 1984, CCTV Center for Media & Democracy advances free speech, promotes local democracy, facilitates participation in political decision-making, and builds unity and empathy in the community by convening, recording, airing, sharing, and archiving community voices. Through projects including Town Meeting TV, CCTV Productions, and the CCTV Archives, we operate at the intersection of media, civic engagement, and community history.
We are a close-knit, mission-driven team that brings creativity, initiative, and genuine care to our work. We value collaboration, innovative thinking, and a commitment to lifelong learning, and we look for those qualities in everyone who joins us. If you are energized by the idea of helping a community see and hear itself more fully, CCTV is a compelling place to build your career.
Position Summary
The Development and Outreach Coordinator is a key member of CCTV’s leadership team, working closely with the Executive Director and staff to sustain and grow the organization’s community impact. This position supports and implements CCTV’s fundraising and revenue goals, builds meaningful relationships with donors and community partners, and ensures that CCTV’s work (from Town Meeting TV to CCTV Productions to CCTV Archives to Media Education) is visible, well-communicated, and compellingly represented to the public.
This role calls for someone who is equally comfortable with strategy and execution: a motivated, resourceful professional who brings both organizational skill and a genuine enthusiasm for CCTV’s mission to their work each day.
