Tree & Shrub Grower Full Time Seasonal

Horsford’s is looking for organized and self-motivated individuals to grow, care for, and sell ornamental shrubs and trees. Ideal candidates will have an existing knowledge of ornamental plants and botanical concepts, and a desire to continue learning. Existing horticultural knowledge is a plus, interest in working with plants is a must.

The work is physical but rewarding. Daily activities could include potting container plants, pruning, staking, weeding, watering, assisting customers, and much more. Must be a team player but also capable of thoroughly finishing tasks independently.

Work Conditions
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in Vermont’s ever-changing weather
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds
-Each member of our staff works a five-day, 40-hour work week, which includes working one weekend day
