Horsford Gardens and Nursery offers local delivery, as well as planting services to customers. The Delivery and Planting Team represents Horsford’s in the community and at customers’ residences. It is imperative to be respectful, clean, and courteous. You must be willing to learn to do the job to our standards. Team members will be driving a delivery truck and require an excellent, clean driving record.
Each day is filled with hard but rewarding work that includes: loading and unloading trucks, digging holes, planting trees, shrubs and perennials, and spreading soil and mulch.
The Delivery and Planting Team must show up to work on time and be prepared to travel around the greater Burlington area, and sometimes across the lake to New York, in nursery vehicles.
Work Conditions
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in Vermont’s ever-changing weather
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds
-Each member of our staff works a five-day, 40-hour work week, including one weekend day
