Dishwasher Full Time Part Time

Overview
Join our new and expanding kitchen team (we are busier than expected!) as a Dishwasher and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll keep our dishes, cookware, and kitchen clean and ready so our cooks can focus on getting great food to our guests. We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. No experience is required, and we’ll train you. This is a good way to get started in the restaurant industry and learn how a busy kitchen works.  Advancement opportunities available.

Duties

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand and with the commercial dishwasher
Keep a steady supply of clean dishes and tools ready for the line during service
Put away clean items in their proper places
Keep the dish area, floors, and kitchen surfaces clean and sanitized
Take out trash, recycling, and compost, and keep waste areas tidy
Run the dish machine safely, and check water temperature and chemical levels
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination
Help with basic prep tasks and deep cleaning when needed
Work with the kitchen team to keep things moving during busy periods
What We’re Looking For

Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is a plus but not required
Reliable, on time, and able to work at a fast pace
Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
A team player with a good attitude who is willing to learn
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15–25 per week
