BASIC FUNCTION
Under direction of the Executive Chef, manage kitchen operations for designated shift. Two positions available for AM and PM operations. Start date is January 2nd 2022.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead preparation of meals
Oversee meal service
Ensure safe handling of food
Oversee inventory and proper food rotation procedures
Manage kitchen opening/closing procedures
Oversee general kitchen operations in absence of Executive Chef
Be available for scheduled residencies, including preparation and closeout
Other duties as assigned by chef
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum five years restaurant/food service experience, or equivalent combination of relevant degree and experience
Sous chef or other kitchen management experience
Ability to contribute to menu design and implementation
ServSafe certification preferred
