Trivia Hosts Part Time

Seeking responsible, engaging, quick witted and charismatic individuals to host weekly trivia night programs and other events!

Do you aspire to be the next big game show host? Are you a trivia buff and want to give another team the opportunity to win? Love the sound of your own voice? Are you looking for an evening part-time job to supplement your income? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you might be the perfect person for the job!

We’ll provide everything needed to run a successful trivia night, including proper training. Hosting is a great way to earn some fun money, entertain a crowd, and become a “local celebrity.”

We are looking for hosts in the following areas:

• South Burlington
• Stowe
• St Albans
• Colchester
• Essex

Requirements to host: (non-negotiables)

• Must be over 21 years of age
• Ability to lift 35+ lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from venues
• Commitment to a weekly account – at minimum once a week, every week (to include setup, 2-hour trivia, and breakdown ~3-5 hours in total)
• High School Diploma or GED
• No plans of relocation

Preferred Criteria of Candidate:

• 1 year of experience in the service industry
• Comfort and ease on a microphone and talking to clientele (trainable)
• Basic knowledge of Mac and PC, PowerPoint and Excel
• Tech savvy—ability to work with PA system, microphones, laptop, slide presentation with audio and visual components, and score keeping
• Knowledge of, and creativity using, popular social media platforms in an effort build and maintain player audience and promote venue
• Organized and a solid multi-tasker
• Personable and outgoing individual

Compensation:

This is a part time position. Competitive pay with opportunity to host additional accounts.
