Rhapsody Natural Foods is one of the few manufacturers in the country of tempeh, natto, and miso, and the only commercial producer of mochi and organic retail koji, ancient and exciting emerging Asian foods.
We are seeking a reliable, committed, and common-sense Production Supervisor who can lead our production team passionately in producing high-quality tempeh, natto, miso, koji, and mochi. This person must have a thorough knowledge and extensive experience with making tempeh, natto, miso, mochi, and koji – eat them, live them, breathe them. You must be a hard worker, willing and able to run the production line when needed, have strong technical skills and abilities, be a creative thinker, be resourceful, and enjoy working with the variable nature of fermented foods.
Duties of the Production Supervisor include production supervision and management, production scheduling, new product, and production design, quality control, facility management, production staff, and management relationships, record keeping, and inventory control. The Production Supervisor will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that all communications with vendors, customers, and staff are timely, accurate, and effective.
We offer a starting salary of $41,600/annually, vacation pay, and other benefits.
