Youth Coaches provide support for youth staying in the Nightly Shelter. As an important part of the shelter’s community, you’ll help youth achieve housing stability, heal from trauma, and accomplish their goals. Youth Coaches are timely and effective communicators, supportive and engaging, and are excited about making a difference! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with youth, knowledge of best practices in youth development, and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you. It is an awake position; staff must be awake during the entire shift. The position is nonexempt part time weekends, Saturday – Sunday 1:30 am – 9:30 am which with a base pay of $21.00 plus a $4.00 shift differential and is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus; $1,000 to be paid in the first paycheck, and the balance after 90 days, providing you are still an active employee in the position hired for.
