Saint Michael’s College is seeking a SBIRT clinician to implement substance abuse and mental health screening on campus, as well as offer brief therapy and referral to longer term services for young adults. SBIRT refers to the Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment model, an evidenced-based practice used to identify, reduce and prevent problematic use, abuse and dependence on alcohol and drugs. The SBIRT Clinician will report to the Director of Counseling and will work as part of the Bergeron Wellness Center. Master’s Degree and a minimum of two years of experience in substance abuse and mental health counseling preferred. This is a two year grant funded position with the option for longer term employment.
