Randolph Union Middle and High School, Randolph VT, is seeking a compassionate, organized, student-centered School Nurse to support the health and well-being of students grades 7–12 in Central Vermont.
Effective communication skills to clearly communicate student health needs with instructional staff and families
Administer medications and maintain accurate health records
Complete DITEP assessments and cessation efforts
Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and school staff
Monitor and manage communicable diseases
Ensure compliance with immunization requirements
Promote health education related to wellness, prevention, and healthy decision-making
Support students experiencing mental health concerns
Maintain a safe and sanitary health office environment
Participate in crisis response and school safety planning
Qualifications
Current RN license in Vermont (or be qualified to apply for and receive one), Vermont Educator License with School Nurse Endorsement (or be able to qualify for a provisional license)
Experience in pediatric, adolescent, or school nursing preferred. CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
