Expected to begin Fall 2025 this full-time, tenure-track position will be responsible for teaching core and specialized courses in a CACREP-accredited graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Service to the department and university, as well as maintaining an active research agenda, are other responsibilities. The Counselor Education Program works to educate persons to become professional counselors and educators through a combination of theoretical and applied approaches. We are part of the School of Education, Health, and Human Services which prepares students for successful entry into their profession. We focus on an ethical approach to human well-being and encourage critical thinking and practical application. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Counselor Education or a related field if combined with a minimum of one full academic year teaching as a faculty member in a counselor education program prior to July 1, 2013 is required for appointment as Assistant Professor.
