Shelburne Farms is a nonprofit education organization whose mission is to cultivate learning for a sustainable, healthy, and just future. The campus is a 1,400-acre National Historic Landmark on the shores of Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont encompassing a working farm and forest, historic inn, and restaurant.
We are seeking a full time, year round educator to join our education team at Shelburne Farms. This educator role will primarily teach and support education programs for youth and adults with school field trips and summer camp. Depending upon individual qualifications this role may also support preschool programs, our educational farmyard, and/or teacher professional learning. As a member of the education team this position will provide, along with other year-round education staff, leadership and mentorship for undergraduate interns and post graduate fellows. While the primary responsibility for this role will be to teach and provide direct service education, other education projects, materials preparation, curriculum design, and support duties will be incorporated during quieter programming times. Compensation & Benefits:
Salaried, exempt position with health benefits. Salary commensurate with experience. Twenty days per year for paid time off for vacation and holidays plus paid sick days.
