The Behavior Technician plays a key-role on the frontline of delivering care to patient of ACP. Alongside multiple other clinical roles, the Behavior Technician teaches skills and collects data to drive progress forward with ABA techniques.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect data during sessions
Collect ABC data on new behaviors
Teach clients new skills to help better their lives
Minimize undesirable behaviors through ABA therapy
Increase desirable behaviors through ABA therapy
Record Baseline data on new clients
Describe the behavior and environment in observable and measurable terms
Describe functions of behavior
Implement different types of teaching procedures (naturalistic, discrete-trial teaching, stimulus fading, etc.)
