Full Time, 37.5 hrs. @ wk. / Non-Exempt / Union / Benefit Eligible / $20.00 @ hr.
Performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance of college buildings and grounds and other duties as assigned. Second point of contact in the absence of the Director of Facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school education is desirable, plus two or more years of relevant work experience
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to use computers including basic MS Office programs
Ability to use e-mail, set up a computer workstation, and demonstrated proficiency in these areas
Must be able to operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Must be able to work effectively and relate well with others
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be able to work extended hours out of doors in varying weather conditions
Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays
Must demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills. Must be able to frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 60 pounds
Must be able to bend, stoop and crouch to perform functions of job
