Purpose – The Human Resources Director ensures that human resource programs support the long-term goals of the City of Winooski. This position performs professional work of considerable difficulty overseeing a range of functions related to human resource management, employee development and benefits administration. This position also contributes to the Leadership Team by providing guidance, training, and support related to employee relations, and advises the City Manager on employment related issues. The Human Resources Director is responsible for executing department specific procedures, policies and operations.
