Do you have a knack for discovering and connecting to people’s passions? Are you equally great at face-to-face interactions and detail-oriented planning?
The UVM Foundation is currently recruiting for two Assistant Directors of Alumni Relations who will work as Liaisons to specific Schools and Colleges within the University. One liaison will work with Athletics and the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (CALS); the other will work with the College of Education & Social Services and the Rubenstein School of Environment & Natural Resources.
The staff members in these roles will be responsible for strengthening and sustaining the long-term involvement of University alumni, friends, and donors in the life of the University. They will create engagement opportunities and strengthen relationships in ways that encourage alumni to give back through their time, talent, and treasure.
Working both as part of our central Foundation team, and on-site with their campus partners, these dynamic roles offer great opportunities for engagement with UVM alumni and friends from all walks of life. Candidates must be comfortable with, and excited about, this type of interactive work.
The mission of the UVM Foundation is to secure and manage private support for the benefit of the University of Vermont. Our Vision is to foster relationships with alumni and donors that maximize their personal and philanthropic investment in the University, toward the realization of the University’s aspiration to remain among the nation’s premier small research institutions. Every staff member on our team contributes to our ability to meet that mission.
The UVM Foundation is committed to diversity and building an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and ages. We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and people with disabilities.
