Lamoille North Supervisory Union is officially opening the search for a Principal to lead Lamoille Union Middle School (LUMS) in the beautiful town of Hyde Park, Vermont.

The Opportunity
As our next Lamoille Union Middle School Principal, you won’t just be managing a building; you’ll be shaping the future. We are looking for a leader who is:

• A Champion for Equity: A proven advocate for access, inclusion, and diversity who ensures every student feels seen and supported.
• A Middle School Specialist: Someone who understands the unique social-emotional and academic needs of 7th and 8th graders and knows how to make learning come alive for them.
• A Collaborative Partner: A leader who builds strong bridges between faculty, families, the school board, and the wider community.
• An Inspiring Administrator: Someone with the integrity, financial savvy, and interpersonal skills to lead our modern, well-equipped facility into its next chapter of excellence.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant school administration experience (middle school experience is a plus!).
• Education: A Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Licensure: Vermont Middle School Principal License (or eligibility for licensure).
• Spirit: A sense of humor, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for working with middle school learners.

• Salary Range: Competitive salary between $105,000 – $130,000, commensurate with experience.
