Generator’s Membership & Volunteer Coordinator is equal parts a people person, an administrative organizer, and a systems thinker. They aim to strategically streamline and grow our Membership program, while also striving to meet the varying needs of our diverse Members. The Membership & Volunteer Coordinator ensures that Generator Membership is approachable and welcoming, user-friendly, collaborative, and current with the continually evolving maker community.
Providing excellent customer service via email, phone, meetings, and Generator’s online forum (Discourse)
Responding to inquiries related to billing, events, policies & procedures, and other member needs
Coordinating Membership program by facilitating onboarding and off-boarding, reviewing membership applications, leading member orientations, reviewing payment posts, conducting surveys, and performing other administrative tasks
Organizing Member Nights and other Member-focused events
Participating regularly in Generator’s online forum (Discourse) by initiating helpful discussions and answering questions, while actively listening to Members and communicating feedback to staff team
Composing and sending monthly Member Bulletin emails with news and updates relevant to Members
Conducting daily data entries, updates, and management of Member accounts in CRM & payment portals
Coordinating with staff team on data management processes to grow Membership program
