Seeking full-time Teacher/Community Coordinators in Washington and Orange Counties. Candidates must have:
High levels of independence, spirit, drive and capacity for student recruitment, outreach and organizing community involvement to support student success;
Strong familiarity with the service area;

Proven capacity for teaching and guiding basic skills instruction for adults and teens in:
Reading, writing, math, computer and financial literacy;
English Language Learning and U.S. Citizenship prep;
High school diploma and GED credentialing;
Career and college readiness.
Experience with developing personalized education and graduation education plans;
Experience with recruiting and managing volunteers.
CVABE, a community-based, nonprofit organization has served the residents of Washington, Orange and Lamoille counties for 55 years. Hundreds of central Vermonters enroll annually to improve basic literacy skills, pursue alternative pathways to high school completion, learn English as another language, and gain skills for work and college.
Starting salary: $38,000 – $40,000 annually based on experi-ence. CVABE pays 100% of individual health, dental and short-term disability insurance, as well as employer 403(b) contributions and six weeks of paid vacation annually.
